We hope you like the many new science stories. None of us are all that happy about rising fuel prices. I was listening to an economist on the radio a few days ago on this issue, and he said that it is the usual consequence of an improving economy. More demand in our country and more demand internationally.

Once again, we might begin to take green energy more seriously, which to me makes better sense than increasing our short term concerns for obtaining oil as cheaply as possible by encouraging more drilling. Why? Because we may not wish to live with increasing climate upheaval, which costs all of us a great deal in increasing insurance costs, even though we have not yet been directly impacted by the weather itself.

So perhaps this is an opportunity to move in the right long term direction. Even so, it is the pits to pay more and more per gallon!
